In line with the global movement toward energy transition and the decarbonization of the economy, the company has been a pioneer in Brazil in renewable energy generation, investing in wind power since the early 2000s.

Over the course of more than two decades, it has consolidated its presence in distribution and transmission across Brazil’s five regions and expanded its clean energy projects—today, its operations also include solar and hydroelectric power, as well as partnerships to enable offshore wind power production and the development of green hydrogen.
